F1 Grand Prix

Their engines run as high as 20,000 rpm, they can accelerate to 200kph (120mph) in under 4 seconds and go from 300kpm (180mph) to a standstill in around 3.5 seconds. These incredible machines compete in the FIA Formula One World Championship which runs from March to October. Lewis Hamilton came so close to winning the 2007 title in his rookie season, will he stay the distance in 2008? Why not join us on one of our tours to find out?

Cycling

The Tour de France is the world's most famous cycling race which lasts for three weeks on a route that covers most areas of France and sometimes neighbouring countries. The Tour de France is an extreme test of endurance with 20 stages, some with a distance of around 200km (120mph). Riders can be in the saddle for over 4 hours at a time and maintain an average speed of over 40kph (24mph)
