Tour de France & Paris- Departs 24 July 2009
Day 2: PARIS (included), PARIS LATIN QUARTER (optional). A full day trip in the 'city of lights'. Join our guided sightseeing tour (optional) showcasing many of the major sights, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, the Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral. Our cruise along the River Seine (optional) passes elegant architecture and historical structures such as Port Neuf, the cities oldest bridge. The popular Latin Quarter is vibrant and colourful, lying south of Notre Dame Enjoy a stroll by night here, perhaps sampling the local cuisine in one of the many restaurants. Breakfast Day 3: TOUR DE FRANCE FINALE. We witness the climax of Europe's most gruelling race and savour the excitement of the 'grand finale' on the Champs Elysees. The final stage has been held here since the Tour's creation in 1903. There is free time to wander around the circuit, taking in the atmosphere as the riders race their way towards the finish line.
